Hats Off Trivikram!!!

Trivikram Sreenivas, the commercial director who made several box office hits, is known for many as a silent man. He has never shown his flair in Telugu. Yes, a right man waits for right time to say a right thing for right people. On the occasion of MAA Music awards, where all young heroes sat in first row, keeping the legendary singers like Susheela in second row, where the event that has to honor music and literature is just focusing the lens on the dumb young heroes who can hardly read Telugu, where the glitter that has to be observed through Goddess Saraswathi was being observed on the glowing skin of the revealing heroines, it was Trivikram Sreenivas who brought honor to the event with his few words those blasted the fuses of many. Ram Charan was seen experessionless listening to Trivikram. Probably, he might not have understood anything of what Trivikram spoke or he might have got awe stuck.

Trivikram said, “I’m not fit enough with apt vocabulary or stature to say about the élan of Seetaramasastry’s scholarly depth in his lyrics. He wrote in Sirivennela, “Praagdisha veeniya paina dinakara mayukha thantrula paina..”. I never know that there will be a dictionary in Telugu titled Shabda Rathnakaram. I referred it and understood what ‘praagdisha’ means and what ‘mayukham’ means. That was the time when Seetarama Sastry proved that the lyrics can be written even with the words those were not in regular usage. He had the stature to make directors agree to such lyrics”.

He also added, “We generally whistle while seeing Chiranjeevi. But we have to see the man who wrote the lines, “Tharali raada thane vasantham…” for him. Hats off to Seetaramasastry for that”.

This speech elevated Trivikram’s image a lot. But Ram Charan is seen very serious through out Trivikram's speech for unknown reason.
